Important Notice

The Laundry Fairy is only a platform connecting customers with independent service providers.

Each "Laundry Fairy Pro" is an independent contractor, not an employee of the platform.

The platform provides no customer service for disputes or issues with individual Fairies.

Each Fairy is solely responsible and liable for their own service, including any theft, damage, loss, or errors.

By using this platform, you release The Laundry Fairy from all liability related to services provided by independent Fairies.

1. Platform Service

The Laundry Fairy operates exclusively as a technology platform that connects customers ("Users") with independent laundry service providers ("Laundry Fairy Pros" or "Fairies"). The platform does not provide laundry services and is not responsible for the services performed by Fairies.

2. Independent Contractors

All Laundry Fairy Pros are independent contractors who:

  • Set their own prices, schedules, and service policies
  • Are not employees, agents, or representatives of The Laundry Fairy
  • Operate their own independent laundry businesses
  • Are solely responsible for all aspects of service delivery
  • Must maintain their own insurance and business licenses as required by law

3. Liability and Responsibility

The Laundry Fairy platform assumes no liability for:

  • Lost, stolen, damaged, or improperly cleaned items
  • Disputes between Users and Fairies
  • Quality of service provided by any Fairy
  • Timeliness or reliability of any Fairy
  • Any injury, harm, or damages arising from services
  • Pricing disputes or payment issues between Users and Fairies
  • Background, credentials, or trustworthiness of any Fairy

Each Fairy is solely and exclusively liable for all services they provide. Users accept all risks associated with using independent service providers.

4. No Customer Service for Service Issues

The platform does not provide customer service, mediation, or dispute resolution for issues related to laundry services provided by Fairies. All complaints, disputes, claims, or issues must be resolved directly between the User and the Fairy. The platform may provide technical support for the app itself, but not for service quality or disputes.

5. Release of Liability

By using The Laundry Fairy platform, you hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue The Laundry Fairy, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained by you or your property in connection with services provided by any Fairy.

6. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Verify the identity and trustworthiness of Fairies before using their services
  • Remove valuable items from laundry before pickup
  • Communicate service expectations directly with the Fairy
  • Resolve all disputes directly with the Fairy
  • Not hold The Laundry Fairy platform responsible for any service-related issues

7. Platform Usage

The platform provides messaging, scheduling, and payment processing tools to facilitate connections between Users and Fairies. The platform is not involved in the actual service provision and makes no guarantees about service quality, availability, or outcomes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The Laundry Fairy disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Laundry Fairy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform or services provided by Fairies.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, placing an order, or using the platform in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including all liability releases and disclaimers.
